haha Maybe you DO need more calcium, if you're dreaming of milk. XD; My brother drinks a liter of milk a day (and yes, that's BY HIMSELF... and sometimes IN ONE GO), and he's friggn huge. So milk seemed to have done its job with him. >__>;
there's bad things to taking more-than-neccessary supplements of anything. beta carotene has some side effects too, just not nearly as horrible as vitamin A.
related note, you know that one really strong acne medication that's kind of popular that you need a prescription for? I forget what it's called but it was reall popular for awhile, IDK if it still is. But you apparently need to sign some forms and probably get some blood tests in order to take it because despite being a "prescription drug" it's really just highly concentrated vitamin A. :P
And I don't remember that prescription drug. I know my doctor prescribed me some facial creams back in high school, but those were on a benzoyl peroxide base... Considering what an overdose of vitamin A does to you, I can't say I disagree with them making it a prescription. Just because it's a vitamin, doesn't mean you can't overdose on it...
