chocolate chip cookies were invented when this Tollhouse women who was making chocolate cookies, ran out of chocolate and so she decided to use chips. She thought it would melt but it DIDN'T!!!! the people liked it so they kept making them. It is now the most popular cookie in AMerica!!!
