After an amusing round of comments between me andaech_fic on her LJ where she posts her ZoLu/LuZo fanfictions, this image was born from our round of goofball comments and jokes and my oddball imagination. This is my present to her.

That is freakin' ADORABLE, and I absolutely love it! XD

Perfect thing to wake up to when I just had to drag myself out of bed at 4:45am for a nine(plus)-hour work shift.

I really like the reflection effect in the puddle. And Zoro's face. And Luffy being all oblivious to the torment he's putting his swordsman through. And the cute octopus. And, well, jeez, the whole darn thing, really!

The water was the hard part. Once I made it transparent it was a breeze from there...a case of a difficult problem having a simple solution.

And if your curious about the story behind this; Luffy fell off the ship (again) and Zoro had to dive in to save him...and acquired his little friend who seems to think Zoro's hair is algae or something.

Work was long and horrible but thankfully it ended eventually, and I got to come home and show your art to my husband. XD

My fav part about the octopus itself is the tentacle bunching up Zoro's hair. It's a small but awesome detail...

Yeah that detail that came to mind when I was planning this, that at least one of the little octopus's tentacles had to be grabbing Zoro's hair.

hehehehe your comments are pretty funny :) I would have liked see a threesome with the octupus. Hehe *laughs* Anyways I love the drawing!!!!!!!! It is totally cute!!!!!!!! And the octupus is so so cute! I love who the octopus grabs Zoro's hair. It's such a litte and nice cute friend! :) Aww Zoro's face is priceless!! And Luffy is so cute!! Very nice drawing!! (I hope all my phrases make sense) It's so late here in my country that at this time my English sucks. But Aw love the drawing! :)
