I don't know why it's been bugging me, but It feels like the love for the ZoLu pairing is vanishing everywhere. I would like to be reassured that the pairing is still very much alive. I'm just kind of sad right now how stale the pairing has gotten. It's always been my favorite pairing, but theirs nothing much new. Please share what you think about ( Read more... )

WE ARE ALIVE!!!
ZoLu has been my favorite BL for years. It still is and I love it with a deep passion. Sometimes i'ts hard for me to get it too, why isn't it more popular? because I really feel their relationship is enormously special. And it's rare to find something like it in shounen manga.

Anyway, it's the best and I'm glad we both share it ^^

I think you're right, that's what it is. A preferred relationship dynamic based on rivalry. Which I think is a shame because rivalry, to me, only works as a basis for slash when it fits with the chemistry and character backgrounds ( ... )

Zolu is and always will be my OTP
To me it is the most cannon of any relationship in One Piece, there's just so much evidence for it and it's just so wonderful ><

You are right in that the Zolu pairing doesn't get nearly enough love or attention and is always being one-upped by stupid SanZo/ZoSan (grrrr, sorry I am just super not into that pairing, based mostly on everyone's reasons above).

I'm hoping the New World will bring doujin artists back to Zolu, there certainly seems to be more fanart now that it's started. ROYAL GARDEN COME BACK TO US!!!!

We need to post more in this community guys, I know we can spread Zolu (hopefully to NPH!) if we try!

Wow thanks a lot for that tumblr! It has really great pictures! And I know how you feel I hate so much that ZoSan and SanZo pairing, altough I know that ZoLu and LuZo will always be the best yaoi One Piece ever! It buggs me to see so many staff of ZoSan!
