On the way to lunch today, I almost fell on the ground laughing. As we walked out of Teague, we heard sirens getting closer and eventually saw the first police car come around Main towards us. There were about three or four police cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance, all coming as fast as they could

I wish you had got a flim of the one vehicle after another. Methinks some TV video program may have been interested. From my perspective, it demonstrates the power of conformity even in (especially in?) an emergency.
