In need of help

I know I haven't been around on LJ and in ya'll's lives as much as I could have been but I could really use some help/advice/perspective if you all could find it withing yourselves to give it. I don't have any other "public" place to post and ask advice on this matter with out alerting my BFF

I really don't know what to tell you, this sounds like this is one of those situations that no matter what you tell her (along the lines of "You need help"), she's going to get angry and be in denial. In this situation nothing is going to change until she WANTS to, and realizes how stupid she's being.

If you're comfortable with posting this in a community, I'd suggest datinandrelatin. For the most part people post dating issues, but I've occasionally seen things that fit in the "relatin" part, and I think this might work for that. The community is moderated though, so don't get down if your post dosen't show up right away, they have to approve anything that goes up there.

I'm sorry about your friend, it sounds like a really crappy situation. But getting smashed IN THE DAYTIME is not normal. Hell, getting smashed at anytime isn't good, but being drunk during the whole day is a huge red flag.
