Sure they are nice to have, but i don't need one. i'm well enough on my own. and while having that extra emotional support might be handy it also has so many problems that are created by it that i.just.don't.need.it.

If all you need is emotional support then you have people who will give you that happily. The part that really bites is the hold me in the night part. When the shape that is willing to hold you isn't right then you have a higher chance of waking up with that "where am I and who are you" feeling that can destroy a good nights sleep. Now I know that you have male friends who would SLEEP next to you but its just not the same.. I have been dumped for other people before. Now that I am in a stable relationship I don't feel the pain as much when I think back. But they still sting. I wish I could be more help. I can feed you and hug you and give you soapy tv shows to watch, but I can't give you the guy. Anything you can think of I can give you all you have to do is ask. I am here.
