How to Lace an Underbust corset - Video Tutorial

Mar 24, 2010 09:41

So, yeah...
I get a lot of people at work wondering how to lace up their corsets unaided. Also, I'm taking lots of breaks whilst trying to do my criminiology essay and figured I may as well do something productive whilst getting dressed!

A little bit - I hope it's useful for you, sweetie!
But genuinely, people at work are clueless! xx

Very useful, but seeing you do it in person was very useful as well. The way I've done it before made it take forever. (and my arms didn't quite like it)

I used your method a week ago, and it was a lot easier. :) thank you dear.

Poor you. You should get a job where they appreciate you more..

It just takes a bit of practise and figuring out what's best for you and the corset you are wearing.
The door handle method can be helpful, too - haha, maybe I'll do a video of that, too.

I'm really glad I can be of help! Now all we need is for the weather ro improve so yyou can start wearing them more!

Thanks, hun *sigh* I shouldn't complain as generally speaking it's fairly easy money but I can't help feeling totally taken for granted there half the time

Loved the video, it made me laugh at some points, like where you said "I work in a corsette shop in camden, yay!"

I did another one as practice and went off on a tangent about how crap half of the corests I sell are... but figured I probably shouldn't put that on the internet if I want to keep my job!

Sarcasm, yaaay! lol

It depends a bit on the design of your corset. Generally speaking, you may be wearing it a little high on your torso - try wiggling it a bit further down, see if that helps.
Unfortulately some corests just weren't made to be worn with certain bras - wearing a push-up to keep them out of the way is generally a good appraoch, actually. Also, try and avoid underwiring as it can get pressed into your chest, which hurts a lot!

Haha what were you expecting me to sound like - I'm very curious!

Yeah, it's weird, with you especially, we've been talking for so very long now, it almost seems alien!

Thanks, I'm really glad you found it useful. Having someone to help you is really helpful, but the freedom doing it yourself offers is very handy on occasion.
Yeah, for the most part it's the same kind of principle. I will do an overbust tutorial soon, though!
XxX
