Hey Julie, or anyone else that may know the area, can you recommend a hotel in the Escondido area? We have to go to some graduation parties next weekend and wanted to just stay down there instead of driving back and forth. I don't know that area real well, so I'm kinda at a loss as to where to start. If you have any rec's I'd really appreciate

I've never been to any of the hotels in Escondido, but I found this online for you......

I'm not sure how great any of them are though because most parts of Escondido aren't great (kinda ghetto). As you can see by the list they are mostly cheap hotels (Super 8, etc).

If you don't mind driving about 5-10 minutes south you might want to try the Rancho Bernardo area (which is a lot nicer). I found these

Thanks a lot. Yea, I know how parts of Escondido can be, that's why I wasn't sure where we should stay. I don't mind going to Rancho Bernardo, I'm going to check the ones you listed out.
