Ok! So I woke up today feeling surprisingly alive. I'm still not 100% but I no longer want to just lie on the floor and sleep, so I'll take it. Here is how things are breaking down, by order of direness:

DOG:I went doctor shopping for a local veterinary hospital to have the Captain's new broken tooth removed, and found a place about 5 blocks away

For what it's worth, many veterinary clinics accept Care Credit (www.carecredit.com), which is basically an interest-free credit line for medically related things.
