On the other hand, I now have an undying love for Keffy. I do so admire someone who can give as good as they get, even to someone too stupid to realize they got dun told.

I wonder why so many folks are afraid of themselves/their kids catching THE GAY - I mean, I don't like their ideologies any more than they like my entire way of living, but I don't treat them like the freaking typhoid over it.

Didn't mean to be so sharp cutting off your post on his thread. I just found myself feeling less than generous with my comment space for his arguments.

Ahh, no worries. I should've paid attention to where I was replying, and now I feel silly :B Why the hell can't I edit these things?!

Sometimes I wonder if there isn't some kind of shortcut in some people's thinking saying "there's 'sex' in 'homosexual' and 'transsexual', so anybody labelled either must be thinking of sex 24/7". A vox pop asking "Do you think heterosexuals should be allowed to be teachers?" might potentially lead to interesting results.

OMG heterosexuals cause death when inhaled?

I can't think of any person I could safely inhale.

There's a very interesting cracked.com article up now talking about internet debating techniques--one is to lose an argument to OBVIOUSLY PROVE that someone is right.

Ahhh. This ever-elusive glbt 'agenda'. Funny, I still don't see it in the national curriculum but apparently it's like a gay bible now or something?

Irony: Christianity was default in all my schools in England when I was of schooling age and neither me nor my parents got a real choice in whether it was thrust down any nubile throats or not. Unless you wanted to be that weird, lone Jehova's Witness kid who got to escape the prayer time during assemblies.
