I hit Berkeley at 11 this morning, almost exactly 48 hours after leaving Minnesota. Not bad at all! Along the way I had a near-disaster involving running on fumes through a barren desert to find the one fuel station within 50 miles. Of course, of all the times for me to NOT BE IN MY HOMETOWN. You pick NOW to come visit! Gah! Where in Berkeley are you? I live right up at the top of the hills! And of course am right now in Southern California being a space camp counselor. Hmph.
