I think I will be sitting out the distant ones. Expo hit me with a hat trick of misfortunes--the economy, the alley being saturated with newbies, and my inventions being copied cheaply and undercut in price by about ten other vendors. I think I will go with low risk cons (like detour where I can sleep and eat at home) for the time being.

Ouch, I'm sorry Expo sucked. It seems the economy is finally hitting the con circuit - at A-kon I even had some regular customers of mine drop by and let me know they wouldn't be able to afford to get anything from me (usually large commissions) this year.

Dare I ask what inventions of yours were copied?

I really liked the Sheraton last year. Although Artist's Alley was a bit small and annoying to navigate when crowded. :/
