My computer will not boot tonight. I backed up the comic 2 pages ago, but not the latest commissions or art bits. Tomorrow I will take out the hard drive and test it on another computer in hopes that it has not failed. As for the system... all I can say is AAAAAARRRGH

Lets see...
I have CPUs, hard drives, cases and RAM lying around in need of a good home... but not a single motherboard to spare... Figures :(
I guess that's what I get for being a digital scavenger...

Unless you might consider an old dell workstation? It has 2x 2.8GHz processors, 4.5GB RAM and a 250GB SATA HDD. I might even have a DVD burner lying around for it. Its a bit of a power hog but has served me well in the past...

put the hard drive in the freezer if it won't load. I didn't believe it until tech support told me to do it. I actually was able to get the data off of it

I got a new computer a couple of months ago. It cost me short of $700, all told. It was a totally wonderful purchase, and I never looked back to my old POS.

Ask that bastard Santa for one.
