Upgrading my RAM by 1gb DID speed things up, but not enough. To keep this current system going, I would need to spend another $72 to buy three more sticks and max it out, and another $160 for a new motherboard since this one's bad (apparently GT5220 is notorious for motherboard failures). it's a good thing it happened now, rather than later (assuming it would happen at all)... Now being around one of the best times of year (Black Friday/Cyber Monday) to find great deals on electronics amoung other things.

! Goooood point. I think I may do a Black Friday this year for the upgrades, and the entertainment factor.

I saw a really decent system at microcenter for 780, which I am close to reaching. But I may not need more, because a seriously awesome person who reads the comic has offered me an older system (which sounds a damn sight better than what I'm using and can probably be customized for cheap.

Agh I bet this double posts since my phone is glitchy.

I've been shopping around, mainly Microcenter or best buy, and it looks like 800 should cover either a new system or upgrades to a hand me down that I have been offered.

People rule.

As for commissions, I should have some time free once I finish the existing job the I've been scribbling at for a couple of months (bad lukaaaa). Will keep you posted!
