The ones I cut for L didn't. They've been washed a ton and never frayed, the cut edge curled up a tiny bit but that was it. I even used the cut off foot parts as socks. But if they were to fray, you could do a straight hem on a sewing machine in a couple of minutes.
I never paid full price for babylegs but did buy a bunch (still have them- Lukas likes to wear mismatch ones on his arms and legs now). I came across a DIY thing somewhere (she hemmed the socks though) so picked up clearanced knee socks eventually and never got around to hemming lol. :) now I want girly colors, so more cheapo socks.
