Im up too late. Who doth know the loneliness of a late sunday night? Aye, i do that. Admittedly i have brought this upon myself, refusing to finish my SE assignment until now, but still, i had forgotten just how empty msn could get if you're on at the wrong time. Not a soul online. A student awake after 11 on a sunday night is an oxymoron in itself

Which will consequently make me want to listen to all of the Placebo and Nine Inch Nails albums on loop (no offence meant Anne!), paint my nails black, wear excessive amounts of eyeliner and talk about how i want to kill myself all the time.

It's so ironic reading this post after I was just on the Placebo forum where everyone was writing about how they're sick to death of stereotyping of Placebo fans :P and then I come here... blah whatever, I know you didn't mean it offensively it just seems as though everyone is jumping on the I-hate-placebo bandwagon and anyone who STILL could listen to them at 18 is clearly a whiney angsty depressed 14 year old at heart because seriously, havent they grown out of such crap by now? Hmph.

frankly i like one of there songs most ppl hate (shit brick house)
and i dont think i can be described of the above im a pure punk who enjoys good rock music on the side

brian is an unbelievable singer he lines up with the talents of me first and the gimme gimmes lead singer
for rock gods to have there voices heard in that way is unbeliavable
there was another band i was thinking of but i cant remeber atm

Placebo ARE amazing. Everyone thought such a controversial band would disappear after a year, two at most, after the novelty factor wore off.. but the fact theyre still here ten years on about to release a best of singles collection speaks a lot.. they mean a lot to a lot of people. I'm not a huge fan of the people themselves though I agree with a lot of what Brian Molko thinks and believes.. though he can be a little pretentious at times :P Still the music they produce is beautiful and thats what really matters.

You shouldn't use ellipses to signify that not all has been said, or to just simply trail off. Also, a hyphen is not acceptable in the place of a semicolon.

I can't say im that much of a fan, considering ive only heard one song by them, although i did listen to that song(Me and The Moon) on loop for quite a while. Anywey, just read your post on the first ever southbound fest.(excellent line-up that it was) - But didnt you think that everything from about Veruca Salt onwards was just too damn loud? I wouldnt have minded so much 'cept that EJ where among those 'blow your ears off' acts. I even heard that Kav was trying to get the sound turned down while on stage. Frustrating! I reckon they wouldve easily been the best act there if it werent for the volume.

a bit loud perhaps...but thats all part of the atmosphere

loudness is appreciated...didnt really dig much after Veruca Salt but...Regurgitator were so-so
