[He shrugs, which disturbs Claire a bit. She pokes the communicator screen, recognizing Conan's face. But, he's happy to see Conan happy and that's enough; he can shove worrying about everyone who he hasn't heard from to the back of his mind for a few minutes.]

There are a lot of old buildings here...it's a whole new city to explore. I want to go and start looking around. Even though we won't stay here, maybe there will be things we can bring back to Discedo that will be useful.

Oh--hello! [ It's pretty nice of him to be worrying, she thinks. They must have had to travel far, if the communicators' range had to be expanded. She picked up that much, on her English skills, and wonders if he can speak Japanese. ] You...wouldn't happen to be a friend of Conan's would you?

I'm glad everyone's okay so far. We're mostly settled here, but there have been a few new people too...I don't even know which brilliant scientist thought now would be a swell time to bring new people..

I suppose. But, it's good to ask to see if they got there okay anyway. Everyone's strong and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't get where they were going safe...but I still want to ask. Just to be sure!
