[Somehow, in his infinite wisdom, he completely managed to forget Flora would end up seeing this. He's quiet for a moment, before swallowing hard and deciding he wouldn't get upset in front of Flora. Not allowed. He rubs his eyes one more time, and tries to smile. It's more crooked and sad looking than an actual smile, however.]
I'm okay, Flora...he's been here a long time and I know he wanted to go h-home.
[ She frowns, unconvinced. She would be upset about it all later, when no one was around. Because she was...all out of sadness for the time being. But Luke, she knew just how much the Professor's return must be affecting him.

[Luke's backlash isn't deserved--sorry Clive. Besides, he doesn't know much about whatever confrontation may or may not have happened between Clive and Flora. He certainly wouldn't press Flora on the issue if she didn't want to talk about it.]
