Do it man, recapture the passion and conviction that culminated (because of and) during the civil rights era. What do you have in mind? True stories that go unheard or ignored? Fictional stories that you hope to inspire people with? I don't care how you do it, we are a passionless people today. Sure, we get angry, but it takes a tragic event (and i mean this in a loving way) like 9/11 for people to feel passion. You and i, and everyone, we all having interests that get passionate about, but most of them never last. Is passion a passing fad? I believe it's more. I hold a strict definition of the word passion, even if that level of unyeilding, everlasting devotion is never achieved.
So do it man, capture and express passion. Let the era of the civil rights movement inspire and rival your efforts of invigorating passion in us all.
