Romney is out of the Republican race. Bryan just called me and informed me that he dropped out at CPAC. How weird is that? At a conservative convention in DC. It must've been exciting to see in person. I think it's going to be Clinton and McCain, but I hope it's Obama and McCain

There's something about McCain's bird neck that just... weirds me out. If he gets elected, we'll have gone from a man-ape (Dubya) to a man-turkey and I would just prefer someone with a normal genome for fuck's sake.

Anyway, Romney seemed to have the confidence and the intelligence to be a serious contender. I was never going to vote for him as a matter of principle but he was impressive nonetheless.

This Obama/Clinton thing is going to go down to the veritable wire. I can't really substantiate it yet but I feel like, if it comes down to Obama and McCain the choice will be clear for America (Obama) but if it comes down to Clinton and McCain -- which it will -- people will go, "Shit, not really sure which way to lean on this one."

I think I would've voted for Romney if it were Romney-Clinton. Actually, I KNOW I would've voted for Romney if it were Romney-Clinton.

I have the same thoughts as you do on the actual election. I don't know if I would vote, honestly.

Honestly, I've been suspicious of Hillary Clinton for a long time. Superficially-speaking, she strikes me as kinda shady and stuck-up. I was also incredibly turned off by her crusade against video game content after the "Hot Coffee Mod" was uncovered. I'm not sure how or if that evens out my desire to see a woman President. As noted before, she's pretty much desexualized so it's almost a non-issue for anyone who formerly had that concern. I never did except to say I thought it would be an interesting change of pace.

I really, really dislike Hillary. She's a hypocrite, and she changes based on what people want. She has the worst idea for socialized health care ever. I hope she doesn't get the nomination.
