The Wedding and Stuff Since Then.

Jason and Caitlin's Wedding:
Thursday:
So Thursday afternoon me and the family left for Pennsylvania. It was a pretty uneventful roadtrip, or as uneventful as Boire family car-rides can get. By far the highlight of the car-ride was my brother Tim's blonde-ness:
Tim: So cousin Megan's pretty hot.
Nicole: ...ew?
Tim: Alright, that is kinda sketchy. Would it be alright if she was Katherine's cousin then?
Nicole: That depends, whose Katherine?
Tim: You know, Katherine. Jason's fiance.
Nate: Her name's "Caitlin," Tim. That's one of those things you're gonna have to remember.
Nicole: *dies laughing*

and

Tim: *looking at a map of Pennsylvania* Wierd, Bloomsfield isn't even on this map.
Nicole: That's because it's Bloomsberg.
Tim: No it's not.
Nicole: Yeah, it is. *points it out on map*
Tim: (5 minutes later) See, there is a Bloomsberg on this map! I knew there was one in Pennsylvania!
Nicole: That's where we're going Tim.
Tim: You said we were going to Blooms...wait. Ooooh.
Nicole: *sigh*

Friday:
First was the Lady's Luncheon, where I met the other bridesmaids and got to see Caitlin for the first time since June. Then was the rehearsal at the church, where I met my "date" (the groomsman I'd been paired with) Zach. He was really nice & funny. Then I went to the rehearsal dinner, which was painfully boring. To the point where I resorted to making oragami swans out of candy wrappers for my cousin Izzy's amusement, and trying to light things on fire with the candle. It wasn't all boring though, because my dad made his father-of-the-groom speech. Muy amusing. He kinda gave up halfway through though when people started laughing at the parts that "weren't meant to be funny." I'd have loved to hear the rest of it.
Then I went swimming with Izzy. Apparently, if you have fake nails on, you're not supposed to go swimming. 9 out of 10 fell off in the pool. We found 8 of them though, which I'm pretty proud of, since they were almost clear, and it wasn't a small pool.
When I got back to my room, I had to then glue the nails back on. Not a good experiance. I'd had help the first time, and really couldn't do it alone. Like, I really couldn't. I ended up superglueing my thumb and middle finger together, as well as my pinkynail and index finger together. Luckily, I managed to unstick both before the glue dried, after much screaming and pain. I didn't manage to unstick one of the nails from the carpet however, so that might surprise the maid. The person who finds the 10th nail in the pool might be a little confused too. :D

Saturday:
Caitlin, Rachel (Caitlin's sister), Elizabeth (Caitlin's other sister), Krysten (Caitlin's friend), Bonnie (Caitlin's mom), my mom, and I went to a spa that morning. I ended up getting my hair curled and pulled half-back, and my makeup done. Lol, when the spa lady saw my crooked and broken nails with the superglue all over my fingers, she actually winced in pain. :) After everyone was made-up and drunk on a champagne/orange juice drink, we headed for the church, where I ran errands until the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was very wonderful. I had to walk down the isle first, which was really awkard and such, but after that, I just stood at the front of the church and smiled at everyone. I can't believe Jason's married, but I really can't think of a better girl than Caitlin to be with him.
Then a limo picked us up and drove us to a bunch of different sites for pictures. It was freezing cold, especially since all us girls were in strapless dresses, but it was bearable because between pictures Zach lent me his jacket. All the guys were really sweet.
Then we went to the reception, where I basically hung out with Izzy and my cousin Kat's kids. Owen (her 4-year-old) is sooo sweet. He came up to me at the beginning and called me his girlfriend, and told me he wanted to dance with me later. We did dance, and it was way fun. Actually, the whole thing was really fun.

Sunday:
I woke up way earlier than I would have ordinarily have done [7 am on a Sunday :O] so that I'd have time to swim with Izzy and Kat's kids before we had to leave. It was hilarious actually. Izzy and I ended up taking the lifesavers off the wall, ploping a kid on each one, and having races around the pool. Little kids are so cute when they try to swim. After a shower we went to some brunch thing at Caitlin's parents house, where when I was done eating, I got to play soccer with Izzy and Owen in the back yard. The cutest thing I've ever heard in my life:
Me: I've got to go to the bathroom now, alright Owen? I'll be back in five minutes.
Owen: Okay.
Me: *comes back to find Owen sitting on the grass and crying* What's wrong, Owen?
Owen: I was sad when you went to the bathroom. I felt really lonely. Don't leave me again, okay?
Then we drove home. And now I'm here.

Don't worry, I'll upload the pictures as soon as I can and post them. :)

Saturday I'm going to witches woods with Kristin, Meghan, and Courtney. It should be fun, though I have no idea where I'm gonna get $22 from...

Hmm, so you know that earthquake in Hawaii? Jason and Caitlin are going to honeymoon there for a week as of this coming Saturday. I have a feeling that's not gonna work out too well.

We lost to Winnacunnet yesterday. It was a really bad game. Like, they won 1 to nothing off an own goal. What stinks the most though is that now we can't finish with a winning record, which was our goal for the season.
And it puts us in an even crappier position come playoffs. It looks like we're gonna finish in 10th, which means we'll be playing either Memorial or Dover next week, and they'll have home field advantage. We lost to both those teams during regular season. :/ Playoffs start next Wednesday by the way, though none of you could go even if you wanted to, because the game is away and starts at 2 o'clock.

I'm thinking of helping out with the special olympics swim program at the YMCA. Anyone want to do it with me?

I can't decide what I should do soccer-wise this winter. I'm thinking I want to do either World Cup, ODP, or Goffstown indoor. I'm not sure whether I'd even make ODP anymore. I was only JV for U13s, and I only made U14 varsity because of my throw-ins. And since my throw-ins aren't as good as they used to be, and I didn't do it last year... I think I'll just to World Cup. With some Goffstown and Nashua United on the side. :)

My social studies teacher lost my job shadow forms. Which isn't good, since that's supposed to be next Tuesday. I suppose I could always get them resigned, since the person I'm job shadowing lives right behind my house, but I don't really feel like it unless I have to.

PSATs next Saturday. Ugh.

ETA: I really like my new toothpaste. *feels minty-fresh*
