You got laid off too? XD Same here since June 30th, though our manager said me and my co-worker's positions were safe 2 weeks prior. Next thing I knew, the supervisor said we had a week/the rest of June left before getting chucked out. Oh well, I honestly thought I'd lose my job in 2 weeks, but ended up staying there for over 3 years XD

Then you feel my pain. Heh. Seriously, I didn't even like the job anymore. Losing the classes sucks worse. I'm sure it'll work out eventually. Wishing you luck as well!

I am so sorry hon. I hope something opens up quick for you. Make sure you tell unemployment that you are in college. When I went through it, I qualified for a program considering I was in school.

I'm hoping to get back into classes next term. Tried to do the automatic claim online and on the phone. Their computers are down. I did the initial filing, so hopefully they have it up and running soon. And if not, they may make something retro since it wasn't my fault. =/

As to schooling: there's a program for displaced workers that may pay for next term. I'm not giving up yet.
