I have been incredibly busy the past couple of months. And NaNoWriMo about wore me out. However... I can say that I did it and I hopefully will do it again. I have been editing some of the content that I wrote in November, and hopefully can finish my little novel by the end of 2010. We'll see ( Read more... )

If anyone wants to rescue stray cats or kittens, this apartment complex is overrun with them. Most of them are slightly wild, but are not to the point where they couldn't be rescued. I was trying to make friends with a gorgeous male marmalade, but the people 2 doors down from me took him in.

Slinky pretty much invited herself to be a part of our lives by strolling in while we had the door open and plopping her purring and chirping self into my lap. Love at first sight, it was.

Richard rescued his 9-year old cat when she was a tiny newborn from the side of a highway. She was covered in motor oil and obviously too young to be motherless but there was no sign of a mother, so he mothered her.
