Marmite Sue is a ball jointed doll artist sculptor with a very unique style, I think you'll also agree when you view her website:

Not only does she sculpt her own stunning and elegant dolls, she is also a very accomplished digital and traditional artist and a seamstress. Take a look at her portfolio here:

Her doll sculpting brand name is “Angel Egg Doll” or shortened to AEdoll.

I love many aspects about AEdoll but my most favourite has to be how obvious it is that she has sculpted each doll with all of her effort. You can tell just by looking at them, they are each a work of art and each part of their body holds something unique and new.

Sculpted on a small scale ranging from 20-35cm tall, it really is impressive the amount of detail each body part holds and the “lace” sculpting is just gorgeous and is easily one of the more unique and breathtaking things I've seen in quite some time.

Painting on such a small doll is difficult but Marmite Sue's faceups and body blushing/painting on her dolls is incredibly detailed and very beautiful. I personally find her work inspirational, brilliant and beautiful to say the least!

I think that a lot of you would agree even if ball jointed dolls aren't your cup of tea, I'm sure that you can appreciate the level of intricacy and detail that each of her sculpts hold.

I think that anyone who has a love for ball jointed dolls can appreciate Marmite Sue's dolls but I think that people who love whimsical and wonderful designs will Love them. Anyone who enjoys Gothic imagery, fashion and particularly lace and corsets should also find at least one thing they love about these dolls.

Part of why I have decided to post a sort of mini review type post about AEdoll is because I feel that she deserves more exposure and to let people see for themselves how pretty these dolls are.

She is also doing her first line of resin dolls very soon, which are thankfully on topic for Den of Angels a very large worldwide Asian Ball Jointed Doll forum community. So for people who were apprehensive about possibly buying one before due to being off topic at DoA need not be now that there will be a line of resin dolls. Of course, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy any doll due to it being off topic at DoA! Buy what you like.

If you are really interested in her dolls and want to know more, I suggest that you follow her on various communities and bookmark her website.
