Went to the CNE with a bunch of people today, and for those who were there you know I won a small white tiger. So when I got home I showed it to my mom, and then she frowned. So I thought it was probably b/c she didn't approve of me using money this way. But it turned out it was b/c it's not good to have a ferocious "fake" animal in the house,

HAhahah!!! OMG...I totally know what you mean. In grade 8 I drew this HUGE picture of a wolf. It was so well done and I was terribly proud of it. I brought it home and showed my mom and she said "no...you may not hang that in our house because it is too angry and ferocious. We cannot have that kind of 'aura' in our home." Silly Asian superstition

thank god my mom grew up under the godless communist regime!
the same regime that had the foresight to realize education was a lot of time and money wasted, so instead they incited a witchhunt on teachers and defectors! fun! (and sarcastic!)
