Coldplay Concert Update

I have everything in place to go to the Coldplay concert. I just need to get arrangements with my contact to get my tickets... It will be so cool. I think that it will be GA seats, so I can be close to Chris Martin and company. It is not U2 but these guys are very good in their own right! Probably I'm wrong... but I can't help thinking they are copying U2 all the time! Everytime I hear or see Coldplay it seems so obvious... But I guess it's only because U2 were the first...

U2 is better than Coldplay, but I can't say no for an evening of some good music that will calm me down... [I have been under a high amount of stress at work lately!]

Congratulations! That sounds like its going to be so much fun. I wouldn't mind seeing them in concert. Nothing else can measure up now that I've seen U2 but it sure would be fun to go.
I've also found that they can help me through my day. It keeps me sane.

U2 is a much better concert value, but Chris Martin does pretty good in his own right.

Coldplay is a pretty good band, I saw them live a few years ago in Marysville, they were pretty good. However, I didn't like 2 things: 1) the band seems to be very much Chris Martin and 3 guys that nobody can see, 2) Chris Martin apologized that he doesn't sound like Ozzy Osbourne or some hardcore band. But, other then that, everything was very nice, I hope you enjoy it.

As did I. That is why I want to see them again and compare them to what I remember about that tour (and the new venue)! I expect to have fun...

Cool! Tell me how the concert goes. I wouldn't mind seeing Coldplay again, but I can't justify getting tickets ;-)

I will post a full report right here on LJ! I could not justify it either... Then an offer for free tickets was made, and you can't say no to a concert that should be pretty good in its own way.
