That depends of what kinds of events you call major. To me these are very minor events, I'm more interested in international politics, who fights whom. Right now there are a lot of not so good events happening with this dumb Iranian president and Palestinian elections, where terrorists from HAMAS were elected.

Domestically these all are important as they will impact our lives in the coming months and years... That was the point I was trying to make.
