Oscar Night 2006

I don't plan to watch any of the Oscar awards tonight... I feel too tired to stay awake to watch them! I have no idea who one any of the 22(?) categories, nor do I know very many of the nominees for many of the awards. I don't know that I really care about it either, especially right now. Did anything of value from last year win anything? I guess,

Brokeback Mountain was robbed of Best Picture. Crash won instead. people are up in arms (rightfully). everything else was pretty predictable.

I have been hearing a lot about that today, but I have not seen either of them... Was it really that controversial?
