1) I drink all kinds of coffee: drip (preferably a mild or light roast) and espresso drinks (cappuccino, latte, mocha, macchiato).
2) medium drip coffee in a large cup, add non-fat milk to top, spot of half-and-half, three Equals
3) I add my own stuff at the bar, so unless someone pours the dark roast by mistake, it's hard to mess it up.
3A) Sometimes when you have a newbie behind the bar, they don't make the espresso drinks correctly...and I can tell.
4) Here in Long Beach, we are blessed with many independent coffeehouses, and I try to patronize those as much as possible. In the mornings, I usually stop at Polly's for my morning drip (unless I'm in a chai mood, then I go to Starbucks). On weekends or vacation times, I go to Portfolio, because that place has great ambience and great drinks (and pastries!).
1. Normal nescafe. Black with two sugars. 2. Myself 4. Any supermarket that sells nescafe. Th cheapest usually. 5. The caffine I guess. Especially first thing for that lift. Its very addictive.
