to me it degrades the original direct action that was the boston tea party. i understand what these people are doing, but symbolic actions dont do shit. the only reason the boston tea party worked was because it effected that company and subquently the taxing on tea directly.
i highly doubt that the politicians are looking at this action and say" you know what, they are tea bagging the white house! thats insane we need to stop this and change our ways."
the only thing that this is doing is giving a small spike in tea sales and wasting products that could be enjoyed.
