finally, i'm home. thank goodness. it's so good to be home. another two
weeks of working and then my summer income is over. darn. for vacation,
my family drove to Colorado, Idaho, and Utah. it was fun.
we went hiking at a dinosaur quarry and i met this little guy.
we saw the Camarasaurus skeleton in the side of a mountain. pretty cool.
at first glance, this may look like an ordinary rock. but it's actually
the vertebrae to an Diplodocous or an Allasaurus. We actually got to go
see the paleontologists digging up bones at the dinosaur quarry.
again, it may looke like an everday rock, but this is actually part of
a femur (leg bone) [right underneath the new balance shoe] and
supposedly they would dig into the mountain at least 3 more feet.
we met a real live paleontologist.
grandparents think you are special.
this is Jack, the newest addition to my aunt's family.
jack is a beagle puppy.
he kept me company, since i'm the oldest single cousin. all the older
cousins had their boyfriends and girlfriends over. they were a bit
preoccupied.
i look weird, but we got to take a ride in Herbie before we saw War of the Worlds.
i love the mountains.
i want to live here.
we drove through that canyon with fire. pretty cool.
hope you enjoyed my boring pictures. we visited with a lot of family,
but i only took pictures of the mountains, jack and the lizard and the
dead dinos.
:o)
