Boys Before Flowers! First impressions (5 episodes)

Oh my god... Such a dilemma... Trust me, Hana Yori Dango (Japanese Drama) is my favorite drama ever. However, if this situation lasts, I'll have to use the past tense. Indeed, if Boys Before Flowers continues to be THAT amazing, I'll have to quit my old loving favorite drama !
First, let me tell you that the Jp cast was nice BUT I've always thought

Yeah long post with so much spelling mistakes and stuff, I guess. But well, when I started writing it, I was like obsessed with new ideas and couldn't stop typing, hahaha. Yep, I do love this adaptation, and I kinda feel the need to explain myself. Because HYD was my favorite adaptation. That's strange but right now, instead of studying for my next big exam tomorrow, I'll just rewatch the latest episodes. Haha. I definitely suck, dear!

Aaah I'm so excited about this show! You can't even imagine! Oh yes you can, when I start making new icons, it means I'm in love but sometimes it doesn't last (like with Twilight which I find boring now XD) but with HYD or BBF, I guess it will be different, I hope so! (Well it has to be, since I fell for Joon Pyo! XD)

Wow long post indeed XD

I only watched the first episode of the kdrama but to be honest I wasn't that impressed with it...So for now the jdrama is still the best for me XD
Also, as it usually happens to me with all the Korean things, I can't remember their names LOL XD
I prefer the more tomboy-ish Japanese Tsukushi. (and I'll ALWAYS prefer Rui played by Oguri Shun, I thought he did great as Rui XD <-- LOL biased aren't I XD)
And it seemed to me that the kdrama is developing a little too slow...

But I think I'll keep watching it anyway, maybe I'll start liking it more, I learned my lesson that by watching only the first episode I may get the wrong impression XD

Oh that's quite normal then, the first episode is so so but then (above all when it comes to episode 3) it's just pure awesomeness xD
Haha, I know what you mean, I only remember their names (and just Joon Pyo - Doumyouji - Jan Di - Makino - and Ji Hoo - Rui) because I translated some episodes to French on ViiKii and I had to remember those since they come several times.
I have to say that Jan Di is a kind of tomboy but she's also a girl, and that wasn't really show in the Jdrama. You know I love Makino too but Jan Di is a nice adaptation, I think.
Ah sorry, I can't follow you this time, I just didn't like Rui at all =_=
No, It's quite fast actually, I had the same feeling but we're at episode 4 and Joon Pyo & Jan Di already had their date (lol, if we can call it a date). That's the same timing than in the Jdrama, so I hope there will be more events.

Yes that's true! I really advise you to do so, because I wasn't satisfied with the first episode either and lots of people keep saying the drama is always getting better!
