wow, i'm talky tonight

Sep 26, 2008 22:04

I slept well last night, got errands done today, and am making good progress on the homework I need to have done by the end of the weekend. I'm missing a bitchin' party tonight (happy birthday Jag + Rachel), but I have to admit: it's nice to have some free time. I can do things like listen to music.

The (re)discovery of this evening is Last.fm. ( Read more... )

last.fm is awesome. It knows what I want to listen to, so I don't have to.

My favorite set of features deal with your scrobbled listening history, and the community aspect. I have a bad habit of just -forgetting- about a band for a few years.

Yep. I have giant holes in my listening history, though. I will often just plug my ipod into the stereo instead of firing up winamp or whatever.

Huh. Do older versions of the iPod not keep the history of songs you've played, then report it to iTunes?

They do not, no. My 5th Gen Video doesn't seem to, anyways, not that I use iTunes too often.

Hahaha, our musical compatibility is MEDIUM. Which is the highest I've seen yet. The runner up is mattlazycat, above, at VERY LOW. XD

Yeah, that's cracked, since I still have a couple of your old lunchbox mp3 mixes, and like them quite a lot. In fact I think you turned me onto Way Out West. You miiight like my housemates' internet radio thing they do on Thursdays. Give it time, you've only got 250 tracks in it, and the stats won't be based on that much unless they're real recent :)

Why yes I does!

I actually used this back when it was still Audioscrobbler. These days, I either forget to re-install the plugin, or I stream my music via YouTube, so the playlist history there is -really- outdated--almost a year to the day, at that.

We are tagged as VERY LOW compatibility, which makes sense given I think we're very musically incongruous these days. I don't even know half the performers in your history. XD

Also, I just noticed Big Satan And The Jesus Freak listed there. I completely forgot I had those MP3s. The things you remember. :D
