Ok, so I'm thinking about going into theropy as a job. It's one of three things I've been considering for a job

I know you said theropist... but do you mean a psychiatrist or a psychologist(basically more along the lines of what your talking about)? Or maybe even just a counselor? There's a ton of options. Either job is really hard to get into and there's a TON of schooling for it. It's still a great job though if that's what you really want to do. I do have to be honest though... when I took my psychology class my teacher said that you have to pretty much have a masters in psychology if you want to even get your foot in the door. I know this sounds like I'm being so negative, I think it's a wonderful field to get involved in. You know what I think.... I think you should take a few courses in psychology, child development and marine biology before you really decide. This way you'll get a better look at what your getting into. P.S. If you really like helping people too... funeral directing is another wonderful option;)
