The tears are already starting for Ryan's departure in August. I cried all the way home from Ben and Chrissy's apartment tonight. I am not sure I am going to take this distance well this year.

Thanks, girl. I just think about how my best friend will no longer be around. :-( That's a big bummer. But I know once the school year gets going, I'll have a lot of my time consumed. I'm going to try and work harder to use my prep time more effectively this year ... but now that I have one less "extra period" (since I wasn't getting paid to be there 7th period this year), it will be interesting ( ... )

Thanks, girl! :-) I know we will have an awesome marriage when it comes, and now we just need to focus on dating and still getting to know each other's quirks before we get there. I'm eagerly anticipating the day we get married ... but I enjoy dating, too. :-)

Hugs! I know its going to be hard but I really believe you two are strong enough to make it through this! As hard as it may be, I think in the end it will only make you stronger. Stay strong and hang in there!

Thanks, girl! It will be hard, but like you said, we are strong. We have done it before, but this time I know we will be married at the end of all this! It's so, so weird to think about that! Haha. But we talked the other day, and it sounds like I can anticipating planning a wedding for next summer! :-)

Aww that's so exciting!! Are you guys officially engaged now or are you just at the point where you are seriously talking engagement/marriage/etc?

We are definitely not officially engaged, but I feel like we've been "officially" engaged for quite some time, haha. We have both known for years that we were going to get married; it just hasn't been possible with what God has been calling us to. I'm glad that His timing is perfect, though, because delaying marriage and continuing to date has given Ryan a chance to live on his own outside his parents' house to develop as an adult, and he has had a chance to get a real job and learn how that works. I'm working as a teacher and getting experience and getting my license professionalized after this year (two-year mentorship program ( ... )
