here. Being a student in Ravenclaw house does not mean - not entirely, anyway - that every endeavour they embark upon will work.
And work successfully.
Being a Ravenclaw student means that one has the initiative to experiment, the drive to hypothesize and to glean some new information from a series of tests, then apply the results in a practical, helpful manner.
"Albus?"
- at least this is what Albus will continue to tell himself until he can figure out a practical way of starting a conversation with Scorpius that won't use school (and homework, and new potion ingredients, and the bloody weather) as a crutch. (Because he's become far too good at that.)
"Oh - um. Yeah. I've got my Potions notes right here."
A little bit of Gryffindor risk-taking couldn't hurt either.
Oh, it'd be nice if things just worked for once.
