Crap, it seems like I only recently made a meaningful post on this thing... and that was LAST Christmas.

My cheery work peeps keep pointing out the less than 43 days left until that fabulous holiday... and I sort of wish I still had that childlike attitude where anything over ONE day till Christmas seemed like an eternity. Where has the magic gone?

The Art Institute of Phoenix! Wow! That'd be amazing! When would you start? What kind of art would you like to focus on? I think AIPhx would be a really good match for you. And yes, do what you love! Those business degrees essentially just equate to buying a piece of paper just so one can either have it for one's current job or when applying to future jobs. They're helpful, but kinda generic. A degree in what you love is worth so much more.

And tell me about it: college is super expensive! You don't even wanna know how much I'll owe after I've finished this master's degree. Good thing is: I have the option to make my monthly payments based on my annual income. And if I work for the government or doing public service work of some sort, my loan debt will be forgiven after 10 years. Not too shabby!

And i've actually never played World of Warcraft. You'll have to show it to me sometime soon. :)

Yup, I finally gave up my debate of "practical versus enjoyable" and I'm going to go to the art college I probably SHOULD have gone to years ago. My potential start dates will be in either January or February. While I'd honestly prefer to go into Game Art and Design, or something similar, I'm sorta potentially pigeonholed into the Web Design & Interactive Media program, due to scheduling matters. :\ Work and all that wonderful crap, y'know? ...I'm just not sure if I want to do coding and scripting.... meh ( ... )
