Raivis had pretty much begun cooking the moment he got home, the selection available now was immense to say the least.

He hadn't been lying when he had said it was one of his favourite hobbies and he'd been thoroughly enjoying himself, usually Lithuania did all the cooking, as Russia liked only Russian food and Lithuania was the favourite when it came to making that.

He had his own specialties though, he really did, and had been hard at work to prove it. The other towns people were bound to be hungry by now, and discussions needed to be made, discussions always went better when food was available right?

The sound of the door made him jump slightly, until he remembered he'd been asking people to come by.

"Come in! Door is open ja?"

He was stood in the kitchen and the timing of this particular dish was vital that he didn't leave it alone for too long or the dough would go flat and he wouldnt' be able to insert the ingredients.

Oh, gosh, but Raivis was trusting, leaving the door open. Well, it was unlikely that one of the statues or topiary animals could manipulate a doorknob, right? (And hopefully none of the people here would harbour ill-will towards a boy offering free food.)

Fuu entered at the invitation and took off her shoes in the entrance, softly saying the traditional "pardon the intrusion."

Making her way to the kitchen, where all the action seemed to be, she found Raivis attentively minding something. On the counters behind him and the table that was beyond the kitchen she could see plates and plates full of food. It looked like there was way more than she'd seen in his message!

"Hello, Raivis," she greeted the boy cheerily, then motioned at all the food. "You've been busy! This is amazing. No joke when you said you love to cook, ne?"

Looking around, she had no idea where to start. "Ah, maybe once you're done with that, you can tell me a bit about this food? It will be my first time trying many of these things."

It really was just like Raivis to trust people quite contentedly until he was proven wrong, probably why he got into so much trouble so often, but still he refused to be deterred from his belief that basically everyone was good ( ... )

When Cissie had accepted Raivis's offer, she had also conveniently forgotten about the statues in her way. Cursing herself as she narrowly dodged a few, Cissie finally - FINALLY! - arrived at the B building.

Brushing her hair back, she then calmly knocked on the door. She could smell the food - and part of her vaguely wondered if she should walk in - but as it was, she decided to stand outside and wait.

After all, it'd be the polite thing to do.

He giggled slightly when the door was knocked on yet again.

"Come in ja? Door is open!"

He was happy enough for anyone who could walk in to just do so.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Raivis!"

He was still stood at the kitchen, still deciding on various recipies but rather obviously enjoying himself nontheless.

Fuu gave Raivis a somewhat bewildered grin back when he said that she sounded like 'Mr. Japan'.

"Why, thank you. I am Japanese, after all."

But that reminded her... She'd done some research about the Baltic states in the library. It had taken a few tries to get a book that had the correct information (the library here was so weird!) but she'd come upon some interesting things. It didn't make sense, but it was interesting none the less.

"I've never had sausage potato salad before, so I might like to try that. But wow, Raivis, all of this would already be enough for dinner! Eduard, Toris and you must eat really well." With a kind smile she added, "speaking of them, I don't suppose your nickname is Latvia, is it?"

And not too long after came a polite knock at the door.
"I think you'll have to put a note on the door saying 'come on in'!" she commented.

[ooc: this is going to be a grand social event! I hope the log won't get too confusing ^.~ If more people come, we could always break off into threads...]

"That makes sense then I suppose."

He grinned at her and nodded to her statement.

"Then I'll make that ja? It's quite filling so I'll have to leave some time in between courses."

He thought for a moment about what she said about the other Baltics and then slowly nodded once more. "J.. ja... Well, you see, Ivan, he likes eating, but there isn't normally -this- much, it's just that I know there's a lot of people coming ja? All different tastes and I'm hoping I can make enough for everyone..."

His eyes widened at her question though, he knew he had to go carefully here, the last time he admitted who he was the lady hadn't believed him.

"Well.. it's not that my nickname is Latvia ja? Although Ivan and the other Baltics do call me that."

A note? Well...

"That actually sounds like a very good idea... can you do that for me? My hands are still a little full ja?"

(OOC: that might be our best bet if we get enough people in *grins* I'm glad Raivis was able to help everyone!))

[ooc; I think it's fine as it is at the moment, though I agree: threads might be better later on. /o/]

Taking the hint to walk inside, Cissie carefully opened the door and set her fruit salad on the nearest counter. Waving cheerfully, she grinned, "Hi! Sorry if I'm late. Stupid statues keep thinking it's fun to go rampage everywhere..."

She trailed off, however, upon finally seeing Raivis and Fuu. "You must be Fuu," Cissie smiled. "It's really nice to meet you too, Raivis! Thanks for the invite. I brought fruit salad."

Well, Cissie herself was capable of Captain Obvious statements too. Better late than never to admit so, right? It'd be nice to have a home-cooked meal too... she could feel her mouth watering just thinking about everything.

"And wow. Everything smells great."
