as i understand, the level of groping was getting truly ridiculous. Female only cars. Meh it happens. Filed under "sad, but whatcha gonna do about it"

The fact of the matter is Japanese men still degrade a great deal of women. And are often believed over the female who was molested. It's hard to stop it all so this is a somewhat better solution. But it needs to change. Which will be very hard.
