Of course it was obvious X^D Good idea making every character unlockable from the getgo too! This also couldn't come at a better time, thanks to Marvel already being active with the X-Men franchise (that upcoming Origins film) and Capcom back on a fighting game kick.

Mine is the PS2 version, although I hear Dreamcast's is way better.

It is, but do you know why?

Because the mother board used for MvsC2 (among arcades back then which was known as NAOMI) was built by Sega. The same technology used to make the Dreamcast. It's pretty much a Dreamcast you are playing when you play the arcade.
