But man.... honestly, Sonic's like MTV these days; back in the early 90s, it was hip, awesome, and full of WOW for just being it's catchy self. By the 2000s, it sold out to the Next Generation, the same people who find it cool to slam their balls into blunt objects with their skateboards while 'doing the Dew'.... AT THE SAME TIME... (Really, WTF.)

Fuckin' aye. While not my personal favorite (I still hold Sonic 2 up there), I will acknowledge that Sonic CD is ultimately the best Sonic game ever made. While Amy is playing more of a bigger role these days, it was all about the introduction of Sonic's greatest rival, Metal Sonic. Shadow may have Chaos Control, but he doesn't have shit on Metal Sonic. Hell, even in the comics, Shadow has a hard time dealing with Metal.

And this is the only other place where hitting top speed means you'll see some serious shit! (BTTF references rule)

Honestly, if they made a new Sonic game using all of the mechanics of Sonic CD, and even make the characters 3D, that would equal the most epic Sonic game ever.

And just for the record, I miss the Figure Eight (I know it's called Super Peel Out, but because of the comics, I've gotten used to calling it Figure Eight)

Sega mentioned something about making a HD 2D Sonic; why not just remake a definite version of 'Sonic CD' and title it something else (Since technically, calling it 'CD' is a bit of a misnomer.') Something like 'Ultimate Sonic' or something... (Yay, a reference to my Sonic Fangame days!)

I was very amused by all the Sonic games of the past; never one that escaped my radar, but one that I can still brag about to this day and hold it on a pedestal is what I can say is his most insane adventure in his 2D career!

Sonic CD is seriously the best. T_T Though I prefer the US soundtrack over the Japanese/European because of how trippy and unsettling it can be. :o The Japanese soundtrack were like one long DDR soundtrack though I won't deny Cosmic Eternity is hardcore.

YES. THE CUTSCENES. I LOVE THE CUTSCENES. It's the definite Sonic style in my book. It's simple, effective, quick, action-packed, and cute to boot. *nod*

XD I guess that's why I leaned a bit to the JP/EU music; a huge Eurobeat/DDR fanatic.

As for the FMVs... MAN. When I first saw it in the Software ETC. store I was like 'Is....Is that a new Sonic carto... HOLY CRAP THAT'S THE NEW SONIC.... MOM! LET'S GET A SEGA CD!!!'

Ever since seeing Sonic in crazy action, I've stated Sonic as my favorite video game character growing up. Hell, this game specifically is inspiring me for a future project.

Best song in the game. You literally feel chills down your spine when you hear it.

Having heard both Jap and US OST, the US OST I prefer myself. This song alone is the reason. So I don't know what everyone was on about that Japanese version was "better".

BTW, I did have an argument on Sonic CD vs Sonic & Knuckles a little while ago. Haha.

Aww, man, I'm embarassed; I really intended on going on about how the Bad Future of S. Speedway in the US soundtrack had me pumped up to race Metal Sonic. Seriously, the full version of the track was worth the purchase of the soundtrack.

Ah, again, I don't think one is superior to the other, I like both; I just felt the original soundtrack was a bit more 'Sonic-ish'; No lie, I do blame Sonic Jam for exposing me to the whole curiosity of 'Sonic CD had TWO soundtracks?!'

Dude, EVERYBODY loved Sonic CD. I agree, it really was the best in the series.
