Just for the record. I still love this. Everyone just needs someone to believe in them. I don't know ANYONE who can power through life on their own steam alone. Their relationships were all subtle and lovely (except Tegoshi who doesn't DO subtle, lol) Still enjoyable. <3 Thank you!

Amazing story, wow! You really captured me with your characterization of Shige, really amazing! It was really nicely done when you compare Shige and Tegoshi’s characters - they’re really like night and day (but that's one of the reasons NEWS is so wonderful!)

Trashing Shige’s apartment -> epic stuff XD

Loved the line “You just don’t see it, do you? How awesome you are.” and the reference to Fruit Basket was so good.

"It's like Tegoshi's reminding him of his goal while winking at him and offering an overly-sweetened, carbonated drink". --> LOL XDDD

I'm glad you liked this! The contrast between Shige and Tegoshi's personality is one of the inspirations for this story, and the main driver of the plot, really. Thank you!

I'm glad I stumbled on this fic. >w<

I am not good with expressing my feels (or words) for things so usually I just keysmashes through things but anyway I just want you to know I adore this fic so much.

and it's not just my biased TegoShige self talking.

The whole Shige journey, finding the courage to quit his job, getting rid of that security blanket for something that he's passionate in is commendable because I'm sure most of us have/are in that situation; trying to choose between an easy, secure life and your passion for something that has a foggy future.

And I love that it didn't focus on the romance part but more on Shige finding himself. But it IS nice because the relationship has a subtle progress and the end feels so natural and not at all tacked on for the fluff value.

AAAAH, I JUST LOVE THIS FIC OKAY. ♥

I hope you've managed to do what Shige did in your fic. :3
