Dice on the Table Halloween Games Part Three

Presented without comment.

Yeah, right, as if I could do that.

I did the 3D layer and animated camera effect again, this time with much greater success. I took my time in blending the clips so the line created by the overlap isn't noticeable at all. Or at least I am unable to see it.

The pacing in this is also better, in my opinion.

Good times. I wish my players were as into my games as you seem to be with this one.

Isn't this exactly the kind of stunt I took massive amounts of shit for back in the day? ;)

I don't know if you ever pulled a switcheroo on me but one character shooting another character out of fear is definitely ripped from one of your Cthulhu games I played.

I liked the story quite a bit. I did kind of see the horror twist coming, but not the both players dying bit, so bravo.

Speaking of other movies, now that you're getting all good at the editing, do you have plans to put together finished products of the movies we filmed earlier at P&N's?

I did put together The Invitation and the Panda movies. I didn't have permission to YouTube it so I sent out links to the files to everyone involved. I'll have to relocate them since I gave up the nideanet.com domain where they were housed.

But my best acting work was in the zombie movie! ;)

I didn't realize you had completed versions of them - must have missed that.

The zombie movie is going to take more time to put together. I had expected to attend more zombie events but they all coincided with other major life events so a lot of the filler footage to contextualize the interviews isn't ready yet.

I'll pull the vids from my laptop and rehost them.

That was pretty dark, but I liked it. Splitting it into 3 parts seemed to work pretty well - just long enough to have a sub-plot but not so long to break the internet video attention span.

Wunderbar! I'll have to watch this again when I get home, because I am sure I missed some things.

The only technical problem that I noticed was a drop in volume at about 2:45-3:00 approx.

That is part of the audio problem I was dealing with because I screwed up the microphone settings.

I need to measure distance from actor to mic and have the mic setting consistent and I failed on both counts. I got lazy and eyeballed it which works in general but failed this time.

As I expected, the audio isn't as bad as I originally thought. Most of it seems to have been due to the fact that I was listening at work on extremely low volume, so then the lower volume was that much more noticeable.
