R.I.P. Andy Whitfield

OMG. Andy Whitfield, the amazing, gorgeous actor who played Spartacus in the show, passed away tonight of lymphoma. How awful! he was only 39. R.I.P. Andy!

Yeah :( They did the Gods of the Arena, where he only made a brief appearance, because he was in treatment for cancer and they were hoping he'd get better. By the end of it, he still hadn't gotten better and he gave the okay for them to recast Spartacus (which is kinda unheard of for them to recast not only the main character, but the title character). He died yesterday :(
