Hetalia Plushies! (Knock-off's, not authentic)
Ok, I said I would post these, so click on the cut to see a picture and a few notes about them
England:
+Hair was the right color and soft xD
+Face looks perfect
+He's about 6 inches tall which isn't terrible
-His uniform is a very brownish color with maybe a tint of green.
-The ears stick out and are darker colored
-The collar was huge and stuck out
I trimmed part of the hair, scratched the nose off because I think it looks stupid even on the authentic ones lmfao, and glued down his collar in two places to make it look nicer. Overall pleased.
America:
+Hair looked good
+Details were on securely
+Jacket appears to be removable
? He's shorter than England lol forever
-...his uniform is orange
-The same greenish color they used for the eyes was also on the glasses and they blended in Dx
-One ear was way too big
-Trim on his jacket was green like his eyes O_O
-When the jacket moves slightly, you can see that his uniform is sleeveless lmfao wtf
I love America the most after the edits. Sharpie stuck well to the screenprinted details, and I colored his glasses, eyebrows, and jacket trim black. Glued back part of the ear to make it less noticeable and lightly attached his jacket so it wouldn't slip. Also scratched off the nose and he looks so cute. <3
Nothing to say about Italy other than that I think he was adorable. Haven't edited anything on him, there's nothing that really needs it
So, final verdict: They're a little smaller than expected, especially North Italy, and the colors are a tad annoying on Iggy and America's uniforms. However they're cute and cuddly and if you don't mind fixing them up a bit, or even just leaving them as they are they're rather cute, I think they're worth it (especially if you're like me and can't drop $60 on one real one). I bought all three on eBay for about $23 dollars (with shipping).
