How much time are you willing to invest in this community?
That depends on YOU... I'm taking the first step in wanting to be sorted. Make me interested and I'll spend hours here. Bore me and I might not look back. XD You guys are probably awfully intelligent, though, so let's see what happens... give it a try.
PART 1 - Canon
1. Have you read all the books?
Yes. Rereading them all with my fiance ASAP. After we finish Franny and Zooey, that is. ^^
2. Give us your personal interpretation of each Hogwarts house (in
terms of atmosphere, mentality, intra-house relationships et cetera -
these are just a few examples).
Awwwn.. Do I have to? -- All right, fine.
Gryffindor. They're forward. They're mostly honest. They're impure compared to, say, Slytherin, in some ways. I like Gryffindor. I like all the houses ^_^. Okay, you want a little novel.. Fine. Right. Gryffindor seems to me to be the house where all the odds and ends come through. I mean, everyone from Neville to Hermione is in Gryffindor. I think they make a rather nice house to center on, they're a quite nice protagonistic house. More intriguing than Hufflepuff. Less intriguing than Ravenclaw. Hmm.. What else would you want from me about Gryffies? Did I say upstanding? Yes, they seem upstanding and a bit impulsive. I'm a bit impulsive myself so I can tell where they're coming from. xD!~! Fire. FIRE. GRYFFINDOR IS FIRRREEEEE.
Ok, that's enough for Gryffies. I bet everyone puts Gryff first. I bet they do. I bet they do, but I haven't looked. So.
Here's Slytherin in my eyes: Remember in my Gryffindor section how I mentioned that said Gryffies aren't as pure as Slythies? Yes, you do. Okay. Slytherin is pure. And that's all about that... I don't want to explain how I got that feeling, but I just did. As I said I'm a bit impulsive and tend to run with my feelings. I'd like to know more about Slytherin house. I just can't put my finger on anything about it. They're very watery and sort of flowy.. I don't know. Hard to catch. Hard to run with... I keep losing a bit of Slytherin every time I try to get some sort of idea about them. And yes, I like the Slythies. As I said... I like every house. I'll be happy with whatever I get, but writing a mini-novel is starting to bore me. XD
So on to the houses we know less about. Heeeeeeere's Hufflepuff.
Umm.. I always thought Hufflepuff sounded like .. some sort of yummy dessert. I love dessert. Hufflepuffs also have a purity about them, though not in the same way that Gryffies or Slythies have. Puffies are to Hogwarts what Virgo is to astrology... Not so much critical, but a certain innate clearness of spirit. I'm a Virgo so I know what I'm talking about here, hush! I feel a sort of kinship with Hufflepuffs in this way. Especially if I keep in mind that they've all got some sort of pie or cake or pastry in the oven just for me. ^^ I'd like to fit in with that. AHAHA. But it's not my place to say who I'd like to fit in with.. Anyway... Hufflepuffs seem very grounded and earth based, even though the name sounds airy. Oh yeah and all you Puffies need to bake me a cake.. (redundant, aren't we?)
And for Ravenclaw.
Books. Intelligence. Study study study. NO NO NO THERE IS MORE TO RAVENCLAW THAN THAT. If that was all Ravenclaw was, that would be sososo sad. Oyes. I like Cho. Um um... Ravenclaws all seem ready for something. It's like they might know more about the other houses than they let on. There's a certain intuition inside all the Ravenclaws. Not impulse intuition like Gryffindor, but.. but... wisdom. Wisdom, that's it! Not that the other houses don't have wisdom. But Ravenclaw's just different. I have raven-colored hair. I like ravens. I like Ravenclaw. I don't know what else to say. But you want my personality, don't you? (At 4 am, yes this is my personality. XDXDXD)
3. What would be your favourite flavour of Bertie Bott’s Every
Flavour Beans and why (note: as the name implies, all possible flavours
exist)?
WAAAHN! I don't want to decide!! Probably tiramisu. There are so many flavors within that damn dessert, from certain reactions that take place within. *drool drool* I don't know, it's just so delicate and yet so bold. PARADOX ALERT! WHEEEE!!!!! YAY :D
4. If you were on your House’s Quidditch Team, which position would
you preferably play and why?
Ok, right. I think I'd be a beater. I'd hate to see my friends on the team get hit by the big scary bludger... I would feel it to be my duty to keep it away! (There's my silly little protective streak coming out. And how hard I was trying to hide it, too!)

Gee. Um. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I appreciate intuitive, direct genius when I see it. :3 Also.. Watership Down. There's just something perfect about heroic bunnies... Both these books play with language. I love languages. OH YES AND I ALMOST FORGOT.. A Clockwork Orange.
7. What would your Room of Requirement look like? Apart from it looking exactly like Hagrid's Hut... It'd have a kitchen filled with stuff I can bake.. Too much to ask? Nono! Um, a little place where I can draw and stuff, someplace with good mood lighting and a comfy bed. I guess that's all I really need.. satisfaction of my three passions: baking, drawing, and sleeeeping. I have a passion for sleep! MWAHA! Well, wait... No. I need my plushies. --; And my blanket. Um... And my fiance. Can he be a permanent fixture? ^__^

Okok fine. 11 inches sounds like a good length. Willow. Maybe with a little bit of etching on the side. Something in the middle between flexible and rigid... Core of something pretty and shiny. Maybe unicorn hair? I.. I'm indecisive sometimes... I guess I'd really let my wand pick me. I couldn't pick my wand myself. --;

Hmm. My mother. She's a very strong woman, and went through hell raising me. She's the best reporter in the world, always getting the facts she needs to bring possibly shady deals to light, and loves her work even when she's having problems with it. She simply loves what she does. I want to be just like that. I want to love what I do even if it hurts sometimes. Passion... I guess that's it.
11. What would you like to have accomplished at the end of your
life?
I don't care, as long as I get married to my fiance and raise a child. Really the typical sort of thing. I've really fulfilled most of my goals. (Find love. Be loved. Be cool.) - I also want to become fluent in French. I've already got Spanish covered. ^^

Possibly a cat. I like to sit, and watch, and listen, and be soft, and.. and.. sometimes be disinterested. I really don't mind being put in the same boat as McGonagall here. I like McGonagall. ^^; Anyway.. Maybe sneakiness.. Maybe claws of certain doom.. I don't know.

Something feisty and maybe even a little chaotic and cute. Maybe a scampering kitten. Do I need to write more on these questions? Oh, I hope not. --; Er.. um... let's see.. I like.. the positive energy that kittens emit. Yay positivity!

wizarding world and why?
Same career that I'm considering in my ol' mundane life. Professor. Professor of what, you ask? Ohohoh.. I don't care! As long as I get to teach. I don't think anything would make me happier. I'd teach what they wanted me to teach. I'd just want to get an opening, and study whatever I needed to study as much as I could so I could get there.
