I was getting mixed signals until I got to your role model and you started talking about determination. Then the part about your dog... dogs always seem to represent loyalty to me (even if mine is an adorable attention-craving brat at times) and this seemed like a Hufflepuff sort of thing as well.
Someone mentioned being uneasy with your perception of Gryffindor... I totally get what you're saying about it being a mis-matched house full of people who just didn't quite fit into other houses, but I think that's more due to the fact that we know the Gryffindors better than we know anyone else, and there are very few people who truly embody the qualities of one and only one house.
Yanno, we were all sitting around eating breakfast this morning, and all of a sudden, I looked down on my right hand, and was like, "what? Why is there a bruise on my hand?" My girlfriend replied, "you guys were playing Bloody Nuckles last night." I said, "huh.. did I win?" I don't know if that's really a game you can win.
It seemed like you used the word "something" a lot in your application, it really threw me off. But I might have imagined it. Who knows. Anyway, I don't really see this "Hufflepuff" thing. I'm going with Gryffindor.
You know, I just don't see the Hufflepuff. I thought you were more of a Gryffindor than anything. I'd tell you why, but I'm tired and HBP comes out tomorrow so I don't even know if my brain is working.
