So I haven't been on Gaia in a LONG LONG time.

But lately I've been getting an email from them every few hours saying my account was frozen for 15 minutes because of repeat logins.

wtf.

Anyone have suggestions of what to do? Seriously. I have 6 emails just from the last 2 days.

Ooweetha is the account name.

Clearly your account's been hacked. :/ I'd change your password. Or, if you don't want to go on Gaia anymore, tell them to delete the account altogether.

yeah but it's frozen according to the email (for 15 minutes, and by time that's up, i'll likely have forgotten about it til I get the next email), and I'm not sure if I even remember that email address.

That has been happening to a lot of people. I think it's a bot or something similar trying to harvest accounts. I just changed my password and I got less notices. I had over 15 from the past two days. x_x

yeah. I've had this happen a while ago again. So I guess it'll stop after a while when the bot gets tired?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will.

I get those too, but it is on an account that got hacked a few years ago. The hackers changed my password and the answers to my security questions, so I have no way to undo the damage.

That's happening to me too. I haven't tried anything yet.
