So, we'll be evacuating in the morning, and driving up to Shreveport. My friend Kino's mom is really wanting her to leave, and so they're letting us stay with them. Other wise I'd probably have stuck it out here

Just so you know, Regina, while we do have wireless access at our house, my mom's got it set up so that it'll only recognize computers she's entered into the connection manually. So if you want to get online, you'll have to either use one of our computers at the house or ask Mom to modify the connection to recognize your computer. I don't think she'd be too unwilling, so there shouldn't really be a problem with that. That sound okay for you?

Hurricane Gustav. Headed right for where we were before we left. We'll likely be gone until at least Tuesday (if the storm has blown over, at least).

Kinda sucks, but it's an interesting... "twist"... to our daily lives. I guess?
